LOSS OF A GOOD FRIEND —
DONNA SWEITZER
We were so saddened to learn of the passing of our dear friend and RSOC member, Donna Sweitzer, on January 21. Over the past several years we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Donna through her beau and fellow club member, George Rucker.
In the time we knew Donna, it was apparent that she was a loving and giving person. Many of us may not be aware of the extent of this, in that Donna solely cared for her ailing husband and mother in her home for more than a decade until their passing.
The tribute her sons wrote for Donna expresses what we know so clearly — “She is remembered by all for her vibrant personality, infectious smile, and ability to bring humor and light into any room.”
We extend our sympathies to Donna’s sons and George in their loss — a loss that is shared by all who knew Donna.
