Come join us for an early Thanks-giving meal
followed by socializing, field games
such as frisbee or throwing a football, and/or a hike. The hiking trails are nice.
The Coordinator will bring a cooked turkey. Others bring stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, a cranberry dish, apple pie, pumpkin pie, and more. Please let the coordinator know what you are bringing so she can coordinate.
We’ll eat soon after arrival while the food is hot. Bring your own beverage. Be mindful of park rules.
The picnic shelter has been reserved until 4:00, but feel free to stay in the park after that if you like.
The park opens at 1:00 on Sundays and the entrance gate is often locked until then. Also note that DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ends on this day.
No kids, please. Rescheduled if it is raining heavily.
