Enjoy a stroll through Historic Oakwood’s neighborhood in downtown Raleigh, viewing the beautiful Victorian homes.
We’ll meet at Krispy Kreme in downtown Raleigh, gathering at the picnic tables to the right as you face Krispy Kreme. We’ll leave very shortly after noon, so please be on time, arriving a bit early if you want to buy a doughnut or use the restroom. The walk should last about an hour.
After the walk, some of the group may go for lunch within walking distance.
In the event of rainy/extremely hot weather, the walk will be rescheduled. Therefore, please e-mail the Coordinator if you’ll be attending so updates, rescheduling or cancellations can be given.
Meeting Location: Krispy Kreme, 549 North Person Street, Raleigh 20604
Time: Arrive at Krispy Kreme at least by 11:50 a.m. The group will begin the walk around 12:05 p.m.
