TENT CAMPING AT FALLS LAKE

Please join us for a fun weekend of camping at Falls Lake, Holly Point Campground. Arrive on Friday afternoon and leave on Sunday.

Tent campsite(s) have a nearby bathhouse. Convenient parking and our own private loop, if you reserve your spot now!

For day visitors on Saturday, we will hang out at the campsite and swim. The park’s day pass is $10 ($5 for seniors) to be paid at the entrance. Give the park attendant the last name “Davis” and campsite 67, to gain access to Holly Point Campground for the day.

In addition to providing your own food and drink for the weekend, be sure to bring something for the Saturday night pot luck dinner. All are welcome for the pot luck dinner. Folks coming for Saturday’s pot luck need to check with the gate to see what time the park closes the gate for the evening.

PLEASE NOTE: Pets are not allowed on RSOC trips.

Campers must reserve their own camping spots. At the time of this newsletter’s distribution, there is only 1 spot remaining for tent camping at the area we’ll be — Holly Point Campground Loop 2 sites 57-68. However, there are plenty of additional spots adjacent to our loop; so, it’s recommended to reserve those nearby campsites.

For pot luck, please join and let me know, bring your own plate, utensils and napkins.

Location: Holly Point Campground, 14424 New Light Road, Wake Forest. Drive north on Six Forks Road to its end at Highway 98. Continue straight where the road name has changed to New Light Road. Drive .9 mile on New Light where the campground will be on your right.

Event Fee: Sites are $27/night plus $6 reservation fee TOTAL for two nights is $60.

The State Park gate rate of $10.
