Arrive on Friday after 3:00, going directly to the Moccasin Branch campground to set up camp and scout around for a short hike or just relax. The Visitor Center has park maps and trail maps. We will explore the park on Saturday, see Raven Rock for which the park is named, and maybe splash in the river at the Fish Traps. There will be a potluck dinner Saturday night and a campfire if drought conditions allow.  Alcohol is allowed on individual camp sites per the website. Sunday check out is noon.

This is a small campground, so reserve your site ASAP before they are gone. As of early September, there is still camping space available. The Coordinator has reserved #5 with  6, 7 and 8 also reserved by participants. Don’t forget to ask for the senior discount! Please let the Coordinator know what site you have reserved. 

If the campground is full, you can set up an availability notification on the website to let you know if a site becomes available. Let the Coordinator know also in case of a cancellation within our group.

Event fee: As these are all individual campsites, you will need to reserve and pay for your spot through ReserveAmerica.com. Tent sites, non-electric, are $27 per night plus a nonrefundable $3.00 reservation fee.  There is a Senior discount for age 62+, $6 per site.

Maximum attendees: Until the Park reservation system has no more sites.
