FALL PICNIC THANKSGIVING MEAL

We’ll have an early Thanksgiving meal at Annie Louise Wilkerson Park’s picnic shelter followed by field games and/or a hike.

The Coordinator will bring a cooked turkey.  Others bring stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, a cranberry dish, apple pie, pumpkin pie, and more. Please let the coordinator know what you are bringing so she can coordinate.

We’ll eat soon after arrival while the food is hot. Bring your own beverage. Be mindful of park rules.

After dinner, enjoy frisbee or throwing a football or any other field game.  I have reserved the picnic shelter until 3:30, but we can still stay in the park after that.  There are wonderful hiking trails in the park.

The park opens at 1:00 on Sundays and the entrance gate is often locked until then.  Also note that DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ends on this day.  

No kids, please.
